Ernest C. Wong, ASLA, APA

Founder and Principal of Site Design Group, Ltd., Ernest C. Wong has been instrumental in the development of both the firm and the profession of landscape architecture in the City of Chicago. In managing the landscape architecture and urban design firm for over 20 years, Site Design Group has grown to twelve professionals, including licensed landscape architects, planners and architects. Under his direction, the firm has been successful in establishing a reputation for providing innovative design solutions along with thoughtful and beautifully detailed urban spaces. Mr. Wong sits on the board of numerous public service organizations and professional juries, including serving as the Board Chair of the Chinese American Service League, the community’s premier social service agency, and assisting the national Student Conservation Association in establishing their urban work program in Chicago.

Ernie is trying to keep up with his sons’ accomplishments in piano and volleyball, while finishing the renovation of a sustainable residence in the DePaul neighborhood.

Robert K. Sit, AIA

Robert K. Sit is a Partner and Principal of Site Design Group, Ltd. serving as the firm’s architecture, business management and technology development expert. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of all document control systems, quality control/quality assurance programs, financial accounting systems, general computer standards and CADD standards for the firm. Mr. Sit’s architecture projects have included the design of numerous restaurant, retail and institutional projects in the Chicago area. He is member of the American Institute of Architects, and contributes to the profession through continued advocacy and education.

Robert is involved in fund raising for numerous non-for-profits while promoting music and the arts. He enjoys photography and producing audio video projects.

Teresa Fourcher, AIA, LEED AP

Teresa Fourcher is a Senior Associate, Project Manager and Sustainability Specialist at Site Design Group, Ltd. Teresa has extensive experience with sustainable urban design and planning. She has helped craft sustainable visions for large and small scale developments throughout the world. Her responsibilities at Site Design Group include managing projects through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation along with managing client relationships and building professional associations. With a passion for public space, she has conducted extensive first hand research throughout the world with special focus on the psychological and sociological significance of open spaces. Prior to joining Site Design Group she was an Urban Planner, Project Manager and Sustainability Specialist at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP.

Teresa is a former competitive figure skater and coach. She enjoys life with her family on Chicago’s north side and is slowly renovating her 100 year old two-flat.

Juli Ordower, ASLA

Juli Ordower is a Senior Associate and Project Manager at Site Design Group, Ltd. Juli is a Licensed Landscape Architect with a proven track record of guiding multi-faceted projects through design and implementation. Her dedication to collaborative, sustainable design is exemplified in her many projects located throughout Chicago and beyond. Her work includes multi-family developments, streetscapes, parks, playgrounds and civic spaces in both the private and public sectors. In addition to serving clients, Juli is part of Site Design Group’s management team, responsible for several areas of the firm’s operations, and is a mentor to junior members of the firm. Juli’s obsession with exploring details in the built environment informs new design strategies as she integrates them into her existing knowledge base to create powerful outdoor spaces.

Juli is an avid snow skier, an accomplished flutist and practices the discipline of yoga in her daily life.

Amy Beltemacchi, LEED AP

Amy Beltemacchi is a Project Designer at Site Design Group, Ltd. Amy is committed to ecology-based practices that enhance ecological integrity, improve habitat, and create sustainable and resilient communities. She is compelled to create spaces that are not applied, but are a joyful emergence from the intersection of ecological complexity, intimate human spatial experiences, and the communities that use them. Recognizing that collaboration creates long lasting solutions, she has brought her passion for the environment to her work with others on parks, playgrounds, public spaces, and private residences. She has also written guidelines for sustainable landscape design and urban agriculture protocols. With her extensive knowledge of native ecosystems and plant selection, Amy is a firm wide resource.

Amy comes from an old Chicago family with deep roots in the architecture community. Growing up she worked on numerous construction projects while professionally developing a technology based career which explores the connection between people, process, and place. Amy continues her advocacy outside the office working to create sustainable communities.

Hana Ishikawa

Hana Ishikawa is a Project Designer at Site Design Group, Ltd., often leading the design process with complex, yet thoughtful ideas. Hana’s projects have ranged from master planning of modern entertainment complexes, traditional commercial interiors, and historic streetscapes to contemporary urban parks. Her contributions to the firm include the design, detailing, and project management of the firm’s urban parks, including Park 542, Phase 2 of Ping Tom Memorial Park and Stearns Quarry Environmental Park. Constantly looking for visually enticing environments from the rigid structure of classical aesthetics to cutting-edge modern design, whether it is conceptual designs or construction details, she enjoys merging innovation and logic into all aspects of design. Born into a family of designers in Tokyo, with her unique educational history and eclectic job history at many different types of firms, her experience is diverse.

Hana has an excellent sense of direction. She often surprises people when they ask her for directions by drawing an overzealous map for them. Hana is also fluent in Japanese.

Brenda Kiesgen

Brenda Kiesgen is a Project Designer at Site Design Group Ltd. With a passion for social spaces within the urban fabric, her skills in site analysis, communication, and aesthetic considerations produce unique, vivid spaces. Striving to create enduring places with a sense of connectivity, her projects include collaboration between architects, city agencies and community residents. Brenda’s education as an architect allows her to envision the creation of spaces through material and form, while her research of innovative sustainable technologies lay the foundation of an integrated site development process.

Along with her husband, Brenda enjoys raising their two children, a pit bull and five chickens in the small northern community of Wadsworth. Brenda's love of production keeps her busy outside of work tending to her garden, building furniture and designing stationary.

Brad McCauley, ASLA Associate, CDT, CSI-I

Brad McCauley is a Project Manager at Site Design Group, Ltd. with a concentration on construction administration. His skills in communication, construction detailing and contract documents facilitate the design process by developing strong, accurate and successful construction documents. His projects include streetscape design, residential design, urban parks, playgrounds, open space design in both the public and private sectors, and projects seeking LEED certification. His recent contributions include construction management for Park 542, Printer’s Row Park, and several IDOT beautification projects throughout the greater Chicago land area.

Brad has a special interest in sustainable design practices, urban accessible design, and integrated project delivery. Brad is currently studying for LEED accreditation and the LARE. Brad is Site Design Group’s self appointed social coordinator and Captain of the firm’s beach volleyball team.

Morgan Martinson

Morgan Martinson is a Project Designer at Site Design Group, Ltd. Morgan’s has worked on a wide range of projects including residential, master-planning, institutional, and commercial projects. Her responsibilities include collaboration with consultants and the design team from design development to built completion. Morgan finds inspiration for her work in the exploration of the multiplicity of thought processes found in the arts and sciences. Prior to joining Site Design Group, Ms. Martinson co-founded via books, a non-profit academic book series that examines a single topic through the juxtaposition of chosen works, and edited its first edition, via Occupation, which investigates identity, networks, politics, and policy in the design fields. Her graduate work focused on design as an enabler of social and environmental change. Morgan opened her first solo show of laser-engraved paintings in 2009 and has collaborated on several full-scale art installations.

Justin Rossman

Justin Rossman is an Architectural Intern at Site Design Group, Ltd. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology with a minor in Construction Management, and is currently working toward his architectural license. With his background at IIT, he enjoys working on construction details both large and small. His current duties include preparing and creating construction documents and conducting research on a wide variety of topics including construction materials and methodology, and sustainable technology. On summer days, Justin can be found in the stands at U.S. Cellular Field selling hotdogs and beer.

Tina Villapando

Tina Villapando is an Administrative Assistant at Site Design Group, Ltd. She has a wide range of responsibilities from coordinating events and tours, to editing technical specifications and assembling marketing packages. She supports the staff on a daily basis and is greatly appreciated for her eternally positive attitude. Tina graduated from Loyola University with a focus in Psychology and Music. Tina is actively involved with the Chicago Children’s Choir for the Lincoln Park neighborhood as a program assistant. She continues to sing and perform in her free time.

Tiffany Cull

Tiffany Cull is the Office Manager at Site Design Group, Ltd. She works with project designers, managers and principals on a wide variety of assignments. She manages daily operations for the office as well as coordinating marketing efforts for the company. Tiffany has taught at the high school and university level and worked for several years as an academic advisor at the University of Texas at Austin.
